Missing Nuu-chah-nulth woman, Angelina Louie, found safe

The Nuu-chah-nulth woman reported missing from Vancouver’s Down Town East Side has been found safe and is waiting in a safe home for her family members to pick her up.

The Coquitlam RCMP confirmed in a press release issued the morning of Mar. 6 that 39 year-old Angelina Louie has been located safe and sound.

Louie, a resident of Coquitlam was reported missing Mar. 3 and was last seen Feb. 27 in downtown Vancouver.

An elated Sue Johnson was on her way to Vancouver to pick up her daughter. She confirmed that Louie had been found on the afternoon Mar. 5.

Johnson declined questions about the circumstances of the disappearance, saying the matter was still under police investigation.
